West Virginia High School Basketball - Expression Prep Academy sneaks past South Charleston

February 26, 2025: South Charleston, WV 25309

The Expression Prep Academy Lions (Huntington, WV) basketball edged the host South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 58-54 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 12-15 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Beckley Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. Expression Prep Academy will play a Crusaders team coming off a 72-58 non-league win over Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, South Charleston falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Black eagles host Washington (Charles Town, WV) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Washington lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)
