The Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI) basketball toppled the visiting Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI), 37-26 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Rockets now possess a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to North Dickinson for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. Rapid River will play a Nordics team coming off a 70-14 non-league win over Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI). The Nordics record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Superior Central falls to 8-15 on the campaign.
