California High School Lacrosse - Athenian overwhelms Convent of the Sacred Heart

The Athenian Owls lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs to 8 in the Owls league triumph on Wednesday.

The Owls now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bentley for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28.

With the loss, Convent of the Sacred Heart falls to 0-1 on the year. The Cubs travel to Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a Bay Counties League challenge on Friday, March 7. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
