The Pell City Panthers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Clay-Chalkville Cougars to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Homewood for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. Pell City will play a Patriots squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Clay-Chalkville moves to 0-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 6. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-0.
