In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Trojans battle the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Pine Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Pinecrest held off Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
