Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Monarch holds off Denver East

The Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) ice hockey held off the host Denver East Angels (Denver, CO), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Coyotes now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valor Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. Monarch will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Heritage (Littleton, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Denver East moves to 11-9 on the season.
