The River Ridge Royal Knights softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Weeki Wachee Hornets to 2 in the Royal Knights non-league win on Wednesday.

The Royal Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wesley Chapel for a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. River Ridge will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Weeki Wachee moves to 0-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL) to encounter the Tigers in a battle on Monday, March 3. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Dunnellon lost 11-7 in their recent non-league battle against Umatilla (Umatilla, FL)
