North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Riverside-Durham overwhelms Voyager Academy

The Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) lacrosse routed the visiting Voyager Academy Vikings (Durham, NC), 19-8 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Alamance for a non-league outing on Friday, February 28. Riverside-Durham will face a Stallions squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Voyager Academy falls to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, March 3. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Eastern Alamance lost 15-3 in their recent league outing against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC)
