North Carolina High School Softball - Union Academy bounces Anson

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Union Academy Cardinals softball team scored a nice 18-2 win over the Anson Bearcats.
The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Central Academy notched a victory over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 13-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 27. Anson will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Timberwolves come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
