Alabama High School Softball - Calera drops to Helena

February 26, 2025: Calera, AL 35040

Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 9-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Helena improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Sparkman (Harvest, AL) to face the Senators in a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. The Senators enter the game with a record of 7-2. Sparkman won 13-8 in their recent non-league game against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL)

The Eagles now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Marbury for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Calera will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
