The Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Gulliver Prep Raiders to 11 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4.

With the loss, Gulliver Prep moves to 0-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Archbishop Carroll (Miami, FL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-4. Archbishop Carroll lost 30-8 in their recent non-league battle against Ferguson (Miami, FL)
