Texas High School Baseball - Sharpstown loses to Sterling

The Sterling Raiders routed the visiting Sharpstown Apollos baseball team by a count of 22-9 in Thursday's league test.

The Raiders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Galena Park for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Wednesday, March 4. Sterling will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-4.

The Apollos (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs enter the 5A Region III District 21 outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Milby achieved victory over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX), 8-3, in a non-league outing.
