The Chugiak Mustangs basketball squad (Chugiak, AK), was nudged 60-57 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK)
The Lynx (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles come into the 4A Cook Inlet challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, West Anchorage edged Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 83-36, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Chugiak will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 66-40 league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK).
