The Angleton Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Harleton Wildcats to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 27. Angleton will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-2.

The Wildcats (1-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Carthage toppled Ore City (Ore City, TX), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
