The Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL) softball routed the host Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Alabama Christian Academy held off Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 27. Auburn will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-2.
