Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) and the host Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), saw Berrien's baseball squad edge Cairo by a count of 4-3.
Coming up next, the Rebels play the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 4. Berrien will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Smiths Station (Smiths, AL).
The Syrupmakers now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Thomasville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. Cairo will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
