Minnesota High School Basketball - Alexandria overwhelms Sartell-St. Stephen

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) and the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), saw Alexandria's basketball squad wallop Sartell-St. Stephen by a tally of 82-50.

With the victory, Alexandria improves its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to play the Spuds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Spuds come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Moorhead won 65-50 in their recent league challenge against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN)

Next up, the Sabres play the Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 73-55 league loss to Willmar (Willmar, MN).
