Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hoisington Cardinals (Hoisington, KS) and the visiting Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS), saw Hoisington's basketball squad overcome Smoky Valley by a tally of 47-39.

With the victory, Hoisington improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS) to confront the Trojans in a North Central AA challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 19-3.
