In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Houghton Gremlins basketball team scored a decisive 59-33 triumph over the Kingsford Flivvers.
In their next game, the Gremlins meet the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 1. Houghton will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Eskymos enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 51-7 non-league win over Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI).
With the defeat, Kingsford moves to 9-12 on the year.
