The South Laurel Cardinals tipped the host Knox Central Panthers basketball team by a final score of 66-62 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. South Laurel will attempt to move on its 18-13 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 27-6 record after their 62-38 non-league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY).
With the defeat, Knox Central moves to 23-6 on the year.
