Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats (Montgomery, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28.
With the loss, Highland Home falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Flying squadron host Goshen (Goshen, AL) to face the Eagles in a 3A Area 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
