In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the South Rowan Raiders.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Concord was overwhelmed by Carson (China Grove, NC), 1-0, in a league game.
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Central Cabarrus was overwhelmed by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 19-2, in a league game.
