Georgia High School Baseball - Towns County holds off Union County

Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Towns County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Hayesville (Hayesville, NC) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Union County falls to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-1.
