In their next game, the Defenders face the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Bryan Station will attempt to move on its 23-6 season record. The Broncos enter the game with a 18-12 record after their 70-55 non-league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).

With the defeat, Sayre moves to 20-10 on the year.
