The Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the host St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA), 45-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (25-10) will now prepare for their test against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 24-4 record. In their last test, Pineville got by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 65-61, in a non-league test.
The Purple Knights now own a 22-13 record.
