In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), by a margin of 52-40.
The Cougars (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Barons go into the non-league outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Bethesda-Chevy Chase defeated Magruder (Rockville, MD), 75-65, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 6-13 record.
