In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) basketball squad edged the host Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN), by a margin of 51-47.

The Blue Devils (15-13) will now prepare for their outing against White House-Heritage (White House, TN). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 19-10 record. In their last outing, White House-Heritage held off Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN), 62-43, in a non-league outing.

The Owls now own a 14-15 record.
