The Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) basketball felled the visiting Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY), 89-76 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (23-6) will now prepare for their test against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 15-13 record. In their last test, Floyd Central thwarted Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY), 71-65, in a non-league test.
The Blackcats now own a 16-14 record. They play next when they travel to Phelps for a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. Prestonsburg will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 17-13.
