The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), 56-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Miners (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Fort Hill notched a victory over Southern (Oakland, MD), 63-51, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 10-13 record.
