North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 33-17 in a league bout.

With the win, North Branch upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Broncos travel to St. Clair (St. Clair, MI) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 13-8. St. Clair won 55-15 in their recent non-league bout against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI)

Next up, the Raiders play the Oakland Christian Lancers (Auburn Hills, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Almont will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 28-24 non-league win over Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI).
