In Tuesday's league outing, the Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI), by a count of 43-21.

The Jets (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Hancock was crushed by West Iron County (Iron River, MI), 35-29, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Watersmeet for a Copper Mountain outing on Friday, March 1. Chassell will clash with a Nimrods squad coming off a 60-15 non-league loss to Johnston (Bessemer, MI). The Nimrods record now stands at 0-17.
