The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 59-11 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cardinals (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Pellston (Pellston, MI). The Hornets go into the Ski-Valley test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Pellston was trounced by Central Lake (Central Lake, MI), 49-10, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Mancelona for a Ski-Valley test on Thursday, February 29. Forest Area will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 39-36 league loss to Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Ironmen record now stands at 12-9.
