La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Mary Academy-Bay View Bengals (East Providence, RI), 59-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Salle Academy upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Sunday, March 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Barrington won 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
