The Negaunee Miners basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Manistique Emeralds to 17 in the Miners league victory on Tuesday.
The Miners now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladstone for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Negaunee will battle a Braves team coming off a 63-33 non-league win over Gwinn (Gwinn, MI). The Braves record now stands at 14-7.
The Emeralds (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Munising (Munising, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Munising triumphed over Newberry (Newberry, MI), 48-26, in a non-league contest.
