Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 35-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petoskey upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Northmen host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Benzie Central won 55-17 in their recent league bout against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Sault Area will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 58-27 non-league win over Leland (Leland, MI).
