The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) and the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), saw Portal's soccer squad knock off McIntosh County Academy by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery County for a 1A D-II Region 2 test on Thursday, February 29. Portal will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, McIntosh County Academy drops to 2-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Liberty County lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA)
