Next, the Lions confront the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Friday, March 1. Tyler will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Longview (Longview, TX).

The Pirates now have a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge on Friday, March 1. Pine Tree will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.
