In Tuesday's league battle, the host Centennial Titans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Emerson Mavericks.
The Titans (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers come into the 5A Region 2 District 10 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Lebanon Trail was nipped by Heritage (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 10 bout, on Friday, March 1. Emerson will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Independence (Frisco, TX).
