In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), by a margin of 13-0.
With the triumph, Tishomingo County moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Braves travel to Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Colbert County won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
In their next game, the Bears play the Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 29. Alcorn Central will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
