The Fruitdale Pirates routed the host Chickasaw Chieftains softball squad by a count of 24-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Clarke County was routed by Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

The Chieftains now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Cottage Hill Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 1. Chickasaw will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.
