The Marion County Red Raiders nipped the visiting South Lamar Stallions softball squad by a final score of 15-14 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Red Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Stallions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host University Charter for a 1A Area 8 battle on Monday, March 4. South Lamar will confront a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 21-7 league loss to Berry (Berry, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 0-4.
