In Thursday's non-league game, the host Douglas Eagles baseball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the Brewer Patriots.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Brindlee Mountain was overwhelmed by Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL), 21-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Patriots face the Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. Brewer will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL).
