The Marietta Blue Devils baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Carrollton Trojans to 3 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Paran Christian for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Marietta will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Carrollton drops to 5-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-3. Hillgrove won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Lambert (Suwanee, GA)
