The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) and the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), saw Central Davidson's baseball team beat East Davidson by a margin of 11-1.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, North Stanly defeated Carson (China Grove, NC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Eagles face the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 1. East Davidson will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC).
