Delaware High School Basketball - William Penn can't hold off St. Georges Tech

St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 43-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Georges Tech upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Sunday, March 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 14-9. Smyrna won 74-57 in their recent non-league match against Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE)

The Colonials now sport a 15-9 record.
