The Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) baseball trounced the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 15-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Coweta for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Northgate will clash with a Indians team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Indians record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Sandy Creek drops to 0-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Paulding (Douglasville, GA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
