Michigan High School Basketball - Ashley trounced by Breckenridge

The Ashley Bears basketball squad (Ashley, MI), was crushed 62-39 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI)

With the victory, Breckenridge advances its record to 13-7 on the year. The Huskies host Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to meet the Irish in a Mid-State battle on Saturday, March 1. The Irish enter the battle with a record of 17-0. Sacred Heart Academy won 32-17 in their recent league battle against Fulton (Middleton, MI)

The Bears now own a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestaburg for a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. Ashley will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 58-38 league win over Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-13.
