The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), observed Kellam's basketball team edge Deep Creek by a score of 57-56.
The Knights (24-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Beach challenge with a 24-0 record. In their last challenge, Princess Anne edged Salem (Virginia Beach, VA), 67-34, in a non-league challenge.
