Illinois High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon fells Marion

The Mt. Vernon Rams basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Marion Wildcats to 59 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now have a 29-3 record. They play next when they travel to Quincy Notre Dame for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Mt. Vernon will confront a Raiders team coming off a 57-17 non-league win over Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 31-3.

With the loss, Marion falls to 21-9 on the campaign.
