In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Eastern Wayne Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals.
The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Saints enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record. In their last outing, Southern Wayne Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 2-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Generals confront the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 28. Wayne Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
